I've been all about mason jars lately, using them for just about everything. Having some left over materials from an earlier project I decided to make these hanging lanterns to hang in my living room. I used a bark wrapped wire, which you can find at your local hobby shop (I get mine at Michaels). for the inside I used white sand (also from Michaels), and a vanilla scented votive candle. Very simple to make, and makes a lovely decoration for any occasion. You can use them as decorations for parties, and add ribbons or lace to the jar if you chose.
